&lt;p&gt;&lt;b&gt;New page&lt;/b&gt;&lt;/p&gt;&lt;div&gt;For the third time this year IBM Ireland, in association with IBM Research Brazil, have offered two young DCU researchers the opportunity to spend 10 weeks at the IBM Research Brazil laboratories in Rio de Janeiro during the summer. One of those lucky researchers is ''' Shen Wang''', a PhD student in PEL, who was awarded this opportunity following an open internal competition, thanks to his strong academic records and outstanding research achievements.The project that Shen will undertake during this internship is titled '''Large‐scale Map Matching''' in which he aims to design a framework for the map matching to deal with a lot of GPS data by considering the similarity of the GPS traces.&lt;/div&gt;</summary>
