Welcome to Nikki Cranley, new Research Fellow in the group!

Nikki is a PEL veteran having finished her phD way back in 2004 focusing on video streaming and QoS. Since then she did some post-doc work with the CNRI lab looking at video over wireless. For the last 7 years she has been working in the aerospace industry as a principal engineer and systems manager with Curtiss-Wright (Acra Control) and Zodiac Data Systems designing networks and networking equipment (including black boxes and quite a few orange boxes!!) for all types of aircraft: fighters, helicopters, space craft, UAV .. you name it! So by coming back to PEL, she will bring a unique insight and perhaps some random crazy ideas for networking directions.
