Congratulations to Prof John Murphy for the recently successful application to a Science Foundation Ireland (SFI) Research Centre: LERO- The Irish Software Research Centre.
Lero brings together leading software teams from Universities and Institutes of Technology in a coordinated centre of research excellence with a strong industry focus. Lero has raised the level and profile of Irish software research with such effect that it is now one of the best known and highly regarded software research centres in the world.
Professor John Murphy is one of the PIs of the project. In collaboration with UCD academics Dr Edward Curry, Dr Pavel Gladyshev, Professor Joao Marques-Silva & Professor Michael O’Neill, they will bring €4,446,638 to UCD.
