Anthony Ventresque, PhD is a research fellow with PEL in the Department of computer science \& informatics at University College Dublin, Ireland. He received a PhD in Computer Science in 2008 from University of Nantes, France. He was research and teaching assistant during year 2009 in the INRIA. From 2010 till 2011 he was research fellow in Nanyang Technological University, Singapore. Anthony has expertise in distributed systems: performance, optimisation and testing.

Anthony Ventresque, PhD is a research fellow with PEL in the Department of computer science \& informatics at University College Dublin, Ireland. From 2010 till 2011 he was research fellow in Nanyang Technological University, Singapore. Anthony has expertise in distributed systems: performance, optimisation and testing.

With PEL, Anthony has been involved in:

  • MULE He is scientific leader of this workpackage concerned with monitoring utilisation of large environments.
  • TRAFFIC He is involved in the data integration and prediction elements of this workpackage dedicated to smart traffic.
  • RTE He has done some groundwork on the topic of testing large systems.
  • CAR Demo He is one of the leaders of this demonstrator for Lero, more specifically working on the technical side and on some research collaborations (fast traffic prediction, adaptation at runtime, optimisation of electric vehicle charging points, etc.).

He is poster and demo chair for ICPE 2014. He has organised the 1st Irish SUMO User Workshop (ISUW 2013), the 1st International Worshop on Testing The Cloud (TTC 2013, co-located with the ISSTA), and a special session at the 16th IEEE/ACM DS-RT 2012. He was the Technical Program co-chair of the 1st International Workshop on Vehicular Traffic Management for Smart Cities (VTM 2012), and Special Sessions chair of the 15th IEEE/ACM DS-RT 2013.
