Thomas Cerqueus obtained his PhD from University of Nantes (France) in november 2012. He was a member of GDD team (Distributed Data Management) of LINA (CS Laboratory of University of Nantes). His work focused on semantic information retrieval in peer-to-peer systems. This interdisciplinary topic gave him with expertise in several fields: semantic technologies, information retrieval and distributed systems. He obtained a Master degree in software engineering (in september 2009) and a Bachelor degree in computer science and mathematics (in june 2007) from University of Nantes.

Between september 2009 and december 2012 he also worked as an assistant lecturer. He gave lectures, TA and labs to Bachelor and Master students on databases, algorithms, data structures and object-oriented programming.

Welcome to Thomas Cerqueus, new research fellow in the group!

Thomas Cerqueus obtained his PhD from University of Nantes (France) in november 2012. He was a member of GDD team (Distributed Data Management) of LINA (CS Laboratory of University of Nantes). His work focused on semantic information retrieval in peer-to-peer systems.
